The British Helicopter Team is gaining momentum in its performance on the world stage. In 2005 the team finished in 4th place in the 12th World Helicopter Championship in Rouen in 2005, having a record breaking six crews in the top 15 positions. Building on this success the team brought back the bronze medal from the 13th World Helicopter Championship in Eisenach, Germany. This is first team medal the British Team has achieved. 6th place was achieved in the recent World Air Games 2009 in Turin.
