The Eurocopter AS350 is a single engine helicopter with a three-blade rotor system, originally designed and manufactured in France with the first prototype flying in 1976.

It is used by civilian operators in many roles including medical evacuation, police air support, executive transport and aerial film work. The military use the "Squirrel" for basic helicopter training, observation and light transport.
